Rical first introduced an internet tracking program in April 1999 called Enterprise Logistics". In October 2005, Rical launched a completely new proprietary web-based tracking program which further enhances global freight visibility, managing logistics information, and tracking your air/ocean transportation data. Any customers who can access the internet can check the status of the cargo in the whole route of shipment, from shipper to consignee.
Highlights of program functions and benefits :
- Convenient Access :
Requiring only a web browser and access to the internet, customers can retrieve their Purchase Order's shipping status any time from any place.
- Comprehensive and Useful Information :
Other than essential shipment data, information such as P.O. / item details, estimated and actual times of departure and arrival, vessel or flight details, quantities shipped, container numbers, customs clearance status, etc. are available.
- Linked Document Images :
Important shipping documents will also be scanned and linked to the shipment record. Customers can view and download as they wish. Typical ones are House waybills, commercial invoice, packing list and delivery orders.
- Automatic Pre-alert :
After the origin office enters shipping details, with a click of the mousse, the program will automatically sends a pre-alert advice to the consignee and destination office.
- Easy Search of Data :
Customer can search their P.O./item shipping details by several criteria such as origin loadport, Master / House waybill numbers, date period and container number.
- Pre-formatted Reports :
We have created a few pre-formatted reports to help importers manage purchase orders and transportation functions. We can also customize reports upon request.
- Portability of Data :
Customers can download data from our tracking program into their computers as Excel files.
- Data Security and Integrity :
Most importantly, our tracking system is a secured system. All users must register with Rical and obtain a confidential login id and password prior to accessing any data. Please contact any of our offices for application of the login id.
