EDI Implementation
Rical is an EDI Trading Partner in GE's EDI network. We have installed GE's Desktop*EDI for Windows supporting ANSI X.12 standard. It allows us to exchange a large number of EDI documents with our trading partners. The most commonly used ones are : 850 (Purchase Order), 856 (Advance Shipment Notice) and 857 (Ship Advice & Container Loadplan). Upon receipt of the EDI records, our customers can extract the data contents and merge into their in-house computer system. |
